This weekend was actually pretty exciting. My sister Carla and her family visited us and brought a new addition to the Bowers clan. We got one of their Jack Russell terrier pups, named appropriately, “Sugar” because she is so sweet. I know that this is not in keeping with my Jiu-Jitsu tough guy persona, but dog gone it, I love puppies!
Thanks very much to VideoCopilot.net, I've recently been able to really improve my visual effects skills. I've followed some of VCP's brilliant tutorials and have even been able to apply some of this learning to some shots in the film. You can check out one of my test clips posted on YouTube here.

Ah, the creative spurt I've been experiencing has the downside of often causing me to wake up in the middle of the night. I rose today at 5:15 and was probably awake since 4:20 or so. It's been very windy on Bowers mountain the last few nights.
A while back I took advantage of a little sale Sixus1 Media had on their Project Human zombies. I had occasion to create a a few bits of poserized zombie animation over the weekend. You'll hear more about what for later. So anyways, I load up and prep the Project Human Female and guess what.
